Way to go
If you are not very experienced with sales meetings, here are some sales steps that you may find inspiring.
Step 1: Iron out your presentation skills
- Familiarize yourself with the order-taking system & understand basic menu editing functionality.
- Get ready for a live demo on your demo restaurant account. Use a notebook or tablet to place a test order and a smartphone with the order taking app to accept the order.
See how to access your demo restaurant account
- In case you get tangled up in demo steps, just have this video always at hand (share this video with your phone or tablet).
Step 2: Start small, just go easy on a few nearby restaurants
- Have a chat with the restaurant manager/owner to “get the vibe”.
- If possible, show them a "hands-on" demo of how an order is placed and accepted.
- Avoid just talking about it. You need to give the person in front of you the feeling of “Hey, I’ve got this! I’m an online magician, so watch my hands! I’m going to take good care of your online sales, ok?”.
Step 3: Get some references
- Close at least one restaurant project and use it as your first reference. Because many restaurant owners may like what they see or hear, but then come with some blunt questions like: “Ok that’s a hefty toy, so am I the first trying this? Have you ‘fooled’ anyone else so far into using this?”
- Having a reference like this in your pocket will allow you to go out there and get even more restaurants faster on board. Once you get to at least 5 restaurants you can also get leads from us.
Step 4: Prepare to scale up
- Create a small presentation website where you show your references and the services you are able to do. Furthermore, you can also customize your own pricing and any freemium offering bundle you intend to offer.

Even if you find these inspiring please create your own final artwork when promoting your business. No usage rights are derived from the above references.
- All the prospects you get from meetings, leaflet handouts, emails or facebook contacts should eventually find out more from your website. Send potential customers a short message with a quick introduction to your website, 3 restaurant links/references and a “let’s talk some more” call to action.
- Now it’s time to review what happened so far and calibrate everything into your very own successfully tested way to market.
